The realm status is a steady "high". But do not go horde on Ravencrest, completely dead. Personally I would also recommend Ravencrest, if you're looking for an alliance-side server. I was first thinking about keep playing on TBC but Noggenfogger is 100% Horde, low population server and I’m alliance. There were littery 1 player online and 0 stuff on AH. Moonguard is like only 70% alliance as well. Sadly yes, but it's still a larger pop server. Realms don't matter for any of that anymore, you simply just play with other people from other servers. Only thing servers that are server specific anymore is the auction house and guilds. If you don't care about raiding and money making, but rather a 100% positive atmosphere, then the RP servers are your place. Like when I play on either faction I want to see people … Wobling Goblin is a lesser-known PVE server (progressing through the original trilogy, currently in Vanilla) based out of Oceania. Population is definitely low, however a single character can learn all professions in the game (blacksmithing, alchemy, skinning, etc.) instead of having a cap. Advantages are that you get more guilds, more people in cities and trade chat, and a healthy economy (though that is not faction-specific). You can only find runs for 70s during primetime and primetime is 7-9:30 server cause dad server. PUGs are atrocious (only 1 or 2 pugs are full ...Khaz'goroth has people on it but the chances of finding anyone to do Mythic raiding with on either faction are absolutely non-existent. Almost every guild on Khaz has severe rostering issues due to the vast majority of high-level PvE players settling on Frostmourne and Barthilas; prior to the HOF ending and x-realm Mythic raiding opening up each tier, it's a struggle to field 20 people without ...2. I really want to play a tank in WoW classic - I tried getting into it before but redridge mountains was just chaos incarnate - could barely move two steps without getting ganked for 2 months straight. Having everyone on a realm be your faction means ALOT more players. Whereas the 50/50 split could make a big realm feel like a low pop one. I'm not sure of the status of the big pvp realms but I'm pretty sure the top ones like sargeras, Illidan and tichondrius are all weighted one way or the other as well.(again pvpers can chime in here)1. There's usually guilds and communities dedicated to it, and people use addons such as TRP to write profiles and so on to supplement the experience. On EU the only "real" RP server left is Argent Dawn, the rest are either dead or are RP realms only in name. It's majority Alliance but plenty of Horde stuff too. Then you can get geared for Sunwell by the time it releases. It’s a great time to start. Dalaran wow has outdated inferior scripts and low pop, while Cromiecraft is still in its lvling phase (they release 10 by 10 lvls every few months or so) with sub 1k pop at best and by now is considered a meme in the community. That's exactly what I want, thank you. Warmane is not highly regarded here at all. All but one of the realms is completely P2W, and the PvP is cross-realm so you'll be at a huge disadvantage anyways. Classic WotLK should be out within the next year or so, would be better to wait for that instead. Chromie is good, but it's vanilla WoW in the WotLK client. It looks like Dalaran-WoW is going to be launching a fresh WoTLK server and that the original realm, Algalon, will be used as an archive server. Nowadays, Alliance rules this server with over 70% of the realm's population. WrA is great for both factions. Wyrmrest Accord has a good Horde population, Alliance is so so. Silvermoon, sylvanas, Ravencrest, agent dawn (rp) from memory. That's ArgentDawn. Shows population per side for all servers. Silvermoon, Ravencrest (though it's way smaller than Silvermoon) and potentially Argent Dawn if RP interests you. The remaining English realms are either small or Horde-dominated. So for example your realm might follow Central time zone but the datacenter the realm belongs to could be in LA. I found this information on wow wiki. They had a list on thier website as well but they included that it might not be up to date. Not a New York data center. Basically having the most people on your faction on the server is the most important. Advantages are that you get more guilds, more people in cities and trade chat, and a healthy economy (though that is not faction-specific). I was first thinking about keep playing on TBC but Noggenfogger is 100% Horde, low population server and I’m alliance. There were littery 1 player online and 0 stuff on AH. Depends on the faction. If your main goal is raiding, EU-PVP1 may be your best bet. If you don't care about raiding and money making, but rather a 100% positive atmosphere, then the RP servers are your place.
