I do have a buddy who is running 295/70/18 on stock 18’s on his trail boss with not scrubbing (no level)...I’ll post a pic of mine though on stock wheels. I didn't want a lift, or something to wide, but really wanted a good size sidewall. This tire is 34.8 tall with a 8.4 sidewall but only 11.2 wide. really fills the well, but doesn't hang out at all. No rub, even at full lock. This is good to know, I have a brand new set of these exact tires ... As well, going to the other front wheel (the one turned out) and checking the space between the rear of that tire and the well will give you the second clearance. The smaller of the 2 is the max increase in diameter. By the way, increasing tire size reduces engine performance. Two weeks after that I took my 75 Ramcharger with 33's and 1-1/2" lift and came out unscathed. No winching either trip. I had to Hi-Lift my Ramcharger a few times. The biggest tire you can fit on a Chevy Colorado with stock suspension and stock rims are 265 65 17’s. They will be without any rubbing problems, and no trimming or additional modifications are required to make them function properly. I just installed a set of 285/65R18s on my 2020 trail boss. They are 32.5 × 11.2" which is only slightly larger than stock. There is no rubbing. Nov 26, 2021 · Picked up 275-55-R20 take-offs that were the same physical size overall as the 22 setup. Been great. Now, with 52K on the tires,they're about gone. Picked up a set of '21 Silverado take-off wheels and tires 275-60-R20, (cause it's cheaper than just buying tires at DT,) and they fit fine.....and i just have a 1/2" motofab spacer up front. With out-of-the-box capability in mind, nearly every important off-road empirical number has improved. Track width is now at 66.3 inches from 65.9 inches, ground clearance grows to 10.7 inches ....
