I was talking to one of the guys running the fiber through the conduit and he mentioned that the copper wiring in our neighborhood was going away in 6 months. I need to know if this is true or false. Gigabit is about the highest you can get at the consumer level today but you can also just get 100 or 300 or whatever the isp will sell you if you don’t need the extra speed.
