I have had both at my house and Xfinity had random outages frequently and inconsistent speeds. With AT&T, I have not had the outages but do still occasionally get slower speeds, but they are fairly uncommon. 9 AwkwardSkywalker • 4 yr. agoSpectrum is the cable internet provider in 90% of the Orlando metro area and Xfinity is only in around 10%. I’ve never had Xfinity, but I’ve heard some terrible things about them. I have Spectrum and have had no major issues with their base 200/10 package with no data caps (which Xifinity has). For traditional telecom, Orlando is split ~50/ ...Xfinity's cable box interface is nicer, but it was more expensive than Fios for me. In addition to what others have said, they're both terrible companies generally, but Comcast is usually seen as being a little more terrible. I had Comcast for a bunch of years and I can't honestly say it was too bad in any way, but I've now had FiOS for a bunch ... Switch to Xfinity for 20% faster Internet at no additional cost.
